But yeah, it’s been a mess around here. I just want to sell my house and move on. Did I mention I fell down the stairs? Yeah. It hurt. And it’s the entire reason we’re selling. The Hubster is terrified I’ll fall and really hurt myself. I only got bruises this time. Not to mention school starts soon and I’ll be home by myself with the kids gone. Another thing that has the Hubster on pins and needles. Can we say overprotective???

The good news is, even though Cam, my puppy, is a mess, he is just a joy to have around. His favorite place to sleep…on my head or across my neck. No kidding! I love it!! I’ll post more pics soon. He gained one pound since last month and weighs a whopping 5.1 pounds. He’s a bigun! haha

Then my daughter got her permit Friday! Woo-Hoo! It took all day at the DPS.

And Sunday, we got our new puppy!! He is sooo cute! 8 weeks old today.

Meet Camden Roush – Cam for short. He’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He’s so smart and already gets potty outside and loves to play fetch. He is, as we speak, asleep in my lap as I type this.

No one could ever replace my DegaDog, but Cam is helping me heal from the loss.

Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was busy, busy.

Because of my health, we put our house up for sale. All the bedrooms are upstairs and it’s getting hard for me to go up and down them. Love my house, just wish more of it was downstairs. So I’ve been trying to clean it…phew, its wearing me out!

Some of you might already know, but I unexpectedly lost my DegaDog. It was a very hard blow and it has left an empty spot in our hearts. No one can replace her, but we realized we needed to fill that spot. She meant so very much to me. Soon we will be adding a new addition to our family…a puppy. It seems so soon, but for us, I think it will help us heal.

In other words, I haven’t even had time to write. *sighs* But I know the house thing will go fast, and we will settle in quickly.

I went to my chapter book meeting Saturday!! I haven’t been since January and I sure missed them. So great, I got to see all my friends and we had a wonderful workshop on VOICE. Was terrific!

They were also announcing the finalists in our MORE THAN MAGIC contest. I had entered ROUGH EDGES and was crossing my fingers. I missed placing by ONE POINT. *headdesk* I always get THAT close but nada. I am happy I did get so close though. Can’t win em all.

I had planned on giving away some stuff if I finaled, but I didn’t.

This is something I’ve lived by for most my life. I’ve taken some really hard hits, but I’m still positive and still see the good in people. The Hubster used to say that I was very naive. I like to think of it as seeing the best in any situation. It that makes me naive, then so be it.

I will work on my book today. I’m off today, but I don’t care. I’m off about 90% of the time now.

Did you read that article about this Nobel prize winner guy saying that there is no way a woman could equal him? HA! What a wake up call he will get one day.

Needless to say, my health is playing tag with me. I think me and the Hubster have it narrowed down to what it may be, but so far, I can’t get any doctors to believe me. I’m still trying though. I sure as heck don’t WANT to be this way.

I just get angry thinking about it. grrs anyway! I want my word count to rise not be stagnant. The will is there, but the body won’t cooperate.

Enough of that though. I hope all is well with you all. My friends, internet and in person. I thank you for your support. It keeps me from giving up.
